Depending on environmental conditions, age and construction of your smartphone, we are at about 90% accuracy.

This means on average one out of ten distances is:

• Not recorded
• Partially recorded
• Recorded incorrectly

What Affects Accuracy

This particularly affects the distinction between closely related vehicle types such as car, bus, train, and rail.

Our Philosophy

Since we designed the app for long-term recording of climate impacts (not as a sports app), individual errors are annoying but negligible over time.

Tip: Activate "Undefined journeys" to review and correct recordings before they are counted.
