What do I do if something doesn't work

Before You Start

First check that all settings and permissions are configured correctly.

The Most Important Settings

1. Location Permission (CRITICAL)

Location permission must be set to "Always":

  • iPhone: Settings → Apps → [App] → Location → "Always"
  • Android: Settings → Apps → [App] → Permissions → Location → "Allow all the time"

2. Disable Battery Optimization (Android)

Settings → Apps → [App] → Battery → "Unrestricted"

3. Apple Health / Google Fit Connected?

Check under MORE → Connections

Give the App Time

Wait up to a day before taking action. Data sometimes needs time.

⚠️ Changing settings 10 times in a row does NOT help and only causes confusion.

Basic Steps

Step 1: Restart the App

  • iPhone: Swipe up to close
  • Android: Close via main navigation (square)

Step 2: Check Undefined Journeys

Is the symbol of the boy with blindfolds showing? Click on it and define the distances.

Step 3: Automatic Tracking Enabled?

Check under MORE if automatic distance tracking is on.
